A Full Heart

A Full Heart

A Poem by Burak Batuhan Karakus

At the Taj we'll propose, on Swiss slopes we'll ski,
In Machu Picchu we'll find our glee.
The nights of toil we'll ne'er forget,
To be worthy of each tear and sweat.
That man whose iftar filled our hungry plea,
We'll hold in memory eternally.
His kindness shone like a beacon's ray,
Lighting our path along the way.
Who walked with honor by our side,
We'll embrace with reverence and pride.
A steadfast friend through thick and thin,
Whose strength we drew new hope within.
Though life may quicken past our pace,
Time with friends we'll warmly embrace.
Laughter and joy we'll always treasure,
Moments together we'll fondly measure.
Not spoiled success but lessons learned,
From mistakes that wisdom earned.
Falls and stumbles shaped our track,
Taught us patience looking back.
With balance and care we'll leave our mark,
To kindle hope's enduring spark.
Days filled with purpose, nights with rest,
A life lived fully, we'll be blessed.
