Fluffy Teddy Bear

I love teddy bears. Mine recently got so torn up that I had to throw them away. I thought I would honor him in a poem.

My fluffy teddy bear
So old and torn
From me hugging you
On all the days I'm scared

My fluffy teddy bear
So used and scratched
From me abusing you
On all the days I'm angered

My fluffy teddy bear
So worn and faded
From me squeezing you
On all the days I'm heart-broken

My fluffy teddy bear
So high on my shelf
You protect me there
From all the monsters in my room

My fluffy teddy bear
So packed and shipped
To my new home
Where you watch over me

For all other reivewers : who doesnt have a plushie, toy or something they have not held onto for a long perid of time or till now. I like this poem...it was really cute and so so so true. Although it seems babyish, especially for guys, at least its something that can calm them down. Another nice poem :3

Awwww. I love this poem!!!!!!!! It's so beautiful!!! This childhood teddy bear is so like the people we rely on and for the religious, God. This is the perfect example of how the inner child moves with us on into adulthood. No one wants to let go of their childish ways, and most often don't, as you've shown here. Great work!!!
