Hands of stone

Hands of stone

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Love make our hands of rock, soft and tender to the people we love and care for

"
                                  Hands of stone

Life is hard. Gentleness is rare. We must work and work to keep up. My hands are tire and body holding pain, but  life is fair my friend. Love make the work seem less painful and the hand more kind and gentle.

Yesterday I chased rainbows and made wishes at the wishing well. Today I hold my grandchildren. I learn too late for my kids. A child embrace is a hug from God. Make us know what love is. Today I'm a better Grandpa than father. I made time for them.
My tire body become less painful and hands of stone become soft and tender, allowing babies to fall into deep naps and taking my grandchildren to parks, lakes and the festivals. I learn life is short. Kids grow-up and in the end. All we will have left is love given and shared.

It all goes by so fast and we sometimes realize what we've missed. Your hands holding your children's children was one of the most beautiful things I've seen today. The lesson learned is to live your life by living it with everything you've got in each moment. It's a beautiful and a poem that's filled with gratitude and redemption.

Thank you dear friend. Old age had taught me wisdom.
'I am a better grandpa than father' - a beautiful self-realizing reflection, John, that speaks volumes to one's ability to admit any shortcomings. Sometimes it takes a lifetime for us to realize these things; I am happy you have found joy in life through your grandchildren. A wonderful write with beautiful accompanying photos.

You have beautiful, beautiful grandkids Coyote. Yesterday you chased rainbows, today you have all the colours of the rainbow around you, in the form of these cherubs. It is a wonder how parents who are so strict with their kids turn putty in the hands of the grandchildren....It really is a miracle of life.

God bless you and your family. Touchwood :)

This is but a wonderful side of you that I see. I always admire men that look deep inside themselves to give the best to those around. Even when that means it will come to some cost, you still give unconditionally. Lovely and heartwarming write. :)

You are very welcome.
Aww look at you and your grandchildren! Looking good and happy!

Indeed, children are blessings from Life and God. They teach us again to be young at heart, believe in miracles, dream again. They open our hearts even more to love and to accept. You are fortunate to have wonderful grandchildren to love, to spoil, to pass on wisdom as they are fortunate to have you!
