You make words come alive and vibrant.

You love books and words.

You whispered words to create escape and better place.

Dear Poet, talk to me, read to me and whisper to me.

Sing songs of love and journey at the midnight hour.

I love you like an ancient song, sang to the sea Gods forever.

You and your book. My temptress to escape an overflowing world.

I love you my dear Poet.

The first line reminds me so much of YOU that I was picturing this being a story about YOU speaking to the POET within you, all thru-out. I often feel like my poetry comes from an energetic source that doesn't belong to me. Thus, being a separate poet a writer might speak to, summon, lure, coax. I love your love affair with your inner poet! Thanks for sharing!

A nice tribute to poetry and the poet. I think I really like the first line, it points out a lovely truth about writers, whereas the other lines develop into a sort of love confession. Interesting point of view.
