Besame mucho

Besame mucho

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Just words.

"

                                         Besame mucho

My dear one, my lovely one.

We are cursed, we are blessed.

My once barren heart, you awoke.
You made me believe love was a wild storm,
midnight dances and torrid kisses for the rising stars.

I whispered, besame mucho.
I bare my naked heart for you and
I promise you the sea,
nights of dancing and song,
I promise to keep you warm when the cold of Winter,
is upon us.

My dear one, my lovely one.
You are my poetry,
you are my love,
my midnight wish,
my daylight delight.

Please stay till we cannot love no-more.
My dearest muse,
please love me forever.

love the passionate sensual true romance in the texture of your words Coyote Man! makes me want to rekindle the flame ... L1 of last verse you have a double negative ;) maybe "...till we can love no more" ..unless you meant it the way you have it .. i can make sense of that too .. its sort of a way of saying the love is never ending .. kind of a stretch tho ... the first two lines especially hooked and inspired all the romance in me old heart .. so i much more enjoyed the "rest of the story" ... lovely passionate poetry sir!

Thank you Bad Bunny. I appreciate the comment.
I adore this. Such beauty and melody envelop your lines. However, what most warmed my heart was the simple phrase, "Besame mucho". How I love Spanish. Being from Central America I find that the Spanish language has such a sensual and intimate tone. It's so alluring, so hypnotizing. The sudden change in language captured just that. The lust, the passion, the love. Purely magnificent! Much love.

“You are my poetry” says it all, Coyote. Inspired by love, we write from the heart, often beautiful and moving words. Well crafted piece.

Your words really compliment the dance.. a tango.. wilfully passionate, rhythmic and more!

' My dear one, my lovely one. - You are my poetry, - you are my love, - my midnight wish, - my daylight delight. ' Superbly put.
