You are beautiful..

1- Our children were murdered in our school. Wonderful teachers were killed in our schools. Beautiful children and beautiful teachers murdered. I remember them. I pray they have found a safe place. A place for the teachers to protect their children and the children can be free of fear.

2- Beautiful grandmas and beautiful grandpas were killed Buffalo. What do you tell their grandchildren? How many more must die before we learn. We (USA) don't need 800 million guns and weapons in the USA. I pray the grandmothers and the grandfathers are waiting for their family. In a safe place where love is alive and well.

3- Once beautiful woman lay dying alone in Reno. The world stole her heart and soul away. Left her alone to die alone. I wish I told her a million times. She was so beautiful, she was so wonderful. I didn't. I pray dear Cheryl found peace in heaven. I believe even broken hearten angels have a place in heaven. I believe the people, who suffered the most. Maybe the Gods of life and death. They will be kind to them.

4- I cried a tear every time I hear Christina Grimmie sing. I wish I could tell her. You are so beautiful and you made the world, a better place. Once upon a time. Someone killed a angel and I don't understand, why? I know in heaven, one day. I will hear her joyous voice, a beautiful voice. Thank you Christina Grimmie.

This truly is a beautiful write, reading this made me cry a little bit but, you are so very right. I myself wonder and hope that those souls we have lost have now found peace and serenity in their new life. Thank you for this poem in remembrance of the precious people lost to senseless killings. It's the way of the world to mourn the dead briefly and then move on, forgetting them, never changing, never relenting. I think poetry such as this is a great way of becoming the voice of those who have no voices anymore. Keeping them alive in our hearts is the only adequate tribute we can pay them for their ultimate loss.

Gun deaths are a terrible problem. I was watching New Amsterdam, a medical show on Netflix. The doctors and staff struggle through the pandemic and then there's an influx of shooting victims. One of the doctors say, "We have changed one pandemic for another." And the children, teachers, and everyday people continue to die while the NRA holds a rally with guest speakers, Trump and Pence.

The Republican party had lost their minds. Want 12 years old girl to be marry. Out-right racism and no library. NRA owned the Republican party and till next election. The Senators wants to stop feeding the poor kids at school. When I was young. My mother struggled and my two meals per day. They were my free school lunches. I hope for better days dear Shelley.

I'm raising my grandson (13) and I really appreciate that he gets free breakfast and lunch and that I have an EBT card to help with groceries. It seem that they want to cut government expenses at the expense of those who need the help.

A heartfelt poem John while showing the emotions drawn from those who lost their loved ones in senseless acts of gun violence…..beautiful people..all of them… we can’t let this go on…the fear it creates in all of us….especially our children and grandchildren……we have to end this violence…..we are the leader in gun deaths, mass shootings ….please , we need to break this cycle and have peace, not fear.

I remember in the end of florence and the machine song hunger she said:

That resonate to me like a sword on how I look at the world and its people. But the does not mean I lost touch on hope for humanity. There's always light along the way, we just have to protect enough people we love as we can... Understand and believe we can...
