A mad man prayer

A mad man prayer

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Love can create a madness.

"

                           A mad man prayer

I woke up with your name on my lips.

THE PHONE IS RINGING.

I dreamed you were calling me.
Bringing me into the heat of your flesh.
Calling my name.
Whispering words of love.

Sweet words.
Thanks for the education of the long ride.

I awake.
Sweating and full of hate.
Not wishing to touch you.
But to hurt you like you did to me.

I make plans to see you.
To find you.
Then the hate seem to fade away.

I pray to be able to fall into your arms.
For you to twist up my mind and heart again.

Make me your slave again.
I would serve you.
For you are what I need.

I fall asleep again.
You come into my dreams.
You are so beautiful.
So sweet and innocence looking.

THE PHONE IS STILL RINGING>

I see myself.
Being drowned in cement till I'm buried.
Unable to breath.
I won't cry out for help. I will watch you pour the last of the cement.

I will wait for my last breath.
You give me a demon smile.
Raise your hands.
The cement open up for you.

You tell me.
You will not die.
I'm your punishment.

You ran away from everyone.
I'm your time in hell for being a b*****d.

You will be my fool.
I will hold you as a prisoner till only a flicker
of emotion is left.

You will live till you only wish will be a trip into hell.

THE PHONE IS RINGING

I awake and I answer the phone.
I hear a sweet voice.

You whisper. Come to me now.

'A mad man prayer'
Coyote poetry,
This title fits.. the whole thing speaks of self destruction. I have known people which would of robbed me of life too. The first line and last line really give this contrast of dark and light and then everything in between.
'I woke up with your name on my lips'
last line.
'you whisper, "come to me now.'
Your body of work speaks of the pain people inflict on one another and even upon themselves.
Be careful what you wish for was the thread through this piece which is a good bit of advice for anyone whom wants to love and be loved and will simply settle...hard lesson too.
Blessings,
Kathy

Thank you Kathy. I appreciate the comment. Love can be twisted.

You captured the feelings of an emotionally-abused person so well that I wonder if this actually did happen to you. Excellent contrast between the anger when alone and then being brought back under the person's spell.

wow twisted but i do understand this, Feeling of Your heart being broken and
your guts being steped all over. Thrown away like they was having love for a new heart.

POWERFUL emotions if we Don't pick ourselves up
and move on at times our Emotions can make us feel we are
Trapped in a metal cage, my Emotions did that to me for many years but not any more i don't allow others to hurt me like that any more i stand tall and strong Cause we can't allow what one's say or do mess up our day or life we must go on living Because our Joy doesn't belong to any one else we can't Allow them to take it away just like our attitude doesn't belong to them if you're happy stay happy Be the stronger one Show them that they can't pull you down some that are sad want other to be sad cause they are not happy now not every one's like that but some can be selfish like that cause they are in self pitty of them selves and don't want to for get get up move on and make life better Postive attracts Postive energy Postive people but Negitive attracts Negitive and i always thought to myself why do i not feel so good lota times and not like sick but as in emotions all the negitivity i felt and let one's mess up my day made all the negitive energy every thing come to me like a magnet made me sick i tell you but i don't feel that way any more.

Amazing piece thank you for sharing god bless lily

A sad place to be trapped in with another person but it seems to happen a lot for all sorts of different reasons. I can feel the deep sad emotions.

Fantastic write describing a very painful relationship. Sometimes its hard to pull away from people who love us for a while, hurt us then love us again.

There are some grammars mistakes that I think you would catch it you read it out loud. I would work on the rhythm in some parts, but otherwise, this was wonderfully done. Great write.
