My lady

My lady

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

A old poem written by a sad heart.

"
                               My lady

My lady,
I still cry out in sweet dreams your name.

So long since our lips had touched.
I still wish upon a star,
to be able to look into your eyes.

I wish to awake with your body near.
To put my face into your long blond hair.
Be intoxicated by my love for you.

I wish to hold your tender hands on a walk by the lake.
Two  young titans with love as our shield.

My lady of joy and happiness.
Allow me to remember you sweetly.
For only in your arms did I feel complete.

Salvation I cannot find.
The knife of disappointment is cutting away my tenderness.
Your love is the only loss I can't get over.

My lady,
dressed in white.
Your long blond hair flowing in in the gentle breeze.
I dreamed you were whispering.
"I will only love you."

I have tried to erase your memory.
The memory is tattoos on my heart.
Paradise is rarely touched in a life.

Youth is the greatest high.
We were babies making great dreams happen.
Paradise of candles and the heat of love.
I didn't know sweet dreams would break my heart forever.

My lady of tenderness.
Your beautiful face will not be forgotten.
You were my first true love.

A sweet memory upon a old heart today.

This brought tears to my eyes. And such a feeling to my soul. The memories we have, hold close, we look back on and like a movie reel, it moves oh so slowly behind closed lids.

This was beautiful

A beautiful poem for a love never to be forgotten, we always remember the special times of joy and abandon to passion...
Beautiful Coyote :-)

this is a great write... the words , the structure are all good but superseded by the emotion behind it... a flashback of the times and a smooth reflection of it now... love and losing love... faces and memories...
oh well... we all live in them at some point or most, in life...
again, beautiful poetry.... :)

WOW! Kept me reading to the very end! This poem is sad but very peaceful as well. If that makes sense. You write about losing the one you love but the way you write about the love you had is very intriguing. I love your emotion in this piece! This writing is VERY good! Great poem! :)

its got a very tender touch to it...
awesome lines depicting the depth of love for "your lady"
all the emotions are at peace...love, pain, desire, longing, blessing, sorrow, happiness and hurt and soothing effect of memories...

an outstandingly exquisite piece! its so full of love and your feelings for her... the way you are carving her beauty while mentioning your love for her is something that only a hopeless romantic can do...must say the same hopeless romantic must be blessed with genius to pull it off...
I wonder if it was even intentional..to me..it felt as if you were just penning your love for her...blended with the pain of its loss...with a visible mention of the void that it has left...and her beauty silently made its way amidst this flow of thoughts...
a delightful rad!
