I QUIT

I QUIT

A Poem by Sahara Mist

Notched iron and carbon slithered upon creamy white plains

Heartache blossomed as an illustrious stream materialized

Pretty roses plummet and dash

And I kneel in it

Light cascading through emptiness…

…emptiness becoming something…

Darkness mushroomed in the distance

And with it mortality enfolded my overlying existence

But is there peace in death?
