A Glorious Mist Will Come

For my friend J.M.F. (Bear)

You ask about this barren desert that you find me walking in
Where the strings of my heart
Are drawn so tight
That I cannot breathe or seem
To part

You wonder if there is more to life than these cracks I see
Or the dust flowing through my hands
And what can be done
With this need I find I have
To run

Yes, sometimes I wonder if there are hills that glow with light
Where I know that I can still stand and sing
About my endless hope
And the joy I know that life
Can bring

Do not worry yourself about the place you find me in
Though I know it sings aloud to you
Soon a glorious mist will come
To drench this void and chase away
My blues

I find myself in the deserts too and it's too dry, bland, and depressing to stay in so I would gladly welcome a glorious mist to rescue me before I drop lol.....wonderful poem Neva :)
