One By One We Feel the Breezes

One By One We Feel the Breezes

A Poem by Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
"

One by one we feel the breezes that soothe us musically................

"

One by one we feel the breezes
that soothe us musically
like a breath of silver wings.
Rivers fade into themselves
leaving expressions we understand
yet do not quite notice.
We chase shadows into hidden corners
when night falls;
lie them close
just to hear them ring.

We desire to touch another's name
but when we close our eyes
we are carried away.
The answers we find are reflected
on our fingertips as scars
returning to show more of us
that our time has come.
So we bend like weeping willows
again inspired
by come what may.

Wisdom spirals breathtakingly,
rains down
divided by our faith.
The hand of fortune confounds us,
deafens our ears
to what we believe.
Dawn breaks and we yearn
for what is impossible
to live over again.
Yet, one by one we feel the breezes
that soothe us
musically.

A breeze is like a vibration that we can interpret as music to our spirit. We feel it but often never take notice as it vibrates at a rate that is equal to our own usually. Chasing shadows is like chasing the unknown, an example how we know about death but we don't know it yet we can write and imagine it we chase it as it chases us into the darkness of the unknown.

We desire to touch someones name, interesting thought here. As usually we touch physically but in this I feel we are touching a person in a more personal way as our names represent our standing in society, who we are rather famous or unknown or names are highly personal. But when we close our eyes we are alone with our own spirit to journey the universe looking for answers and the scars on our fingertips are the result of bringing those answers from the spirit world into our reality as when we wake we have learned more about who we really are rather we chose to listen or ignore it. We bend because in the end we have to accept what comes our way to deny it is just silly. Wisdom divided by faith oh this makes me think of many things. In all religions there is so much wisdom yet they all stand divided when they should be united it is the religion itself that divides us into segments thou we really all almost believe the same thing. How wise are we after all if we can be divided so easily. Fortune, belief and denial. Yes becoming rich or finding fortune and make us deaf to reality as we are able to live our fantasies within a living fantasy, I really liked that part of the poem. Dawn breaking to me is death as after death we will yearn to live again but we will find that same breeze to comfort us in our new existence. That is just what I saw in this poem, LOL I don't know why but all this just hit me. Love it.
