Bids her Come

Bids her Come

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer

Perched on the edge, I see her feathered skirt ruffle.

With an outstretched neck the little bird leans into uncertainty.

Until the tiny zephyr bids her come.

I love to watch birds, especially when there may be a mating call....they anticipate and wait and then some friend comes to their open arms....very vivid and meaningful..

Warmly, B.
Few words but delightful, visual and beckoning. You have captured reality and left a magical footprint, Cherrie. Smiling.

Beautiful visual working my mind and eyes, Cherrie.
