Come Pegasus

lets take flight

Come Pegasus, and let us fly.

Lend me  your wings, that stars could fall beneath my feet.

On an isle of clouds will I find my rest and drink from the vapors of there cascades.

My chores are done and I have donned the day,

so hear your name upon the wind.

Rush to my side and upon your back we will break across the night.

As shooting stars go rushing by.

Excellent writing, Cherrie. Makes me want to trade in my bike for a winged horsey. The word "Pegasus" caught my eye, that having been the mascot of a Navy squadron I was in.
