We're Freakin' Nutcases

Yeah....this is kinda like a love song, but not; get my drift?

Every night you haunt me in my nightmares

Every day, I look for your status update

It's not that I'm some kind of freak

But I am a jerk, and definitely a creep

So shut your ears, and don't listen to me

Because the only thing you'll hear is crazy

So shut your eyes, and guard your face

Because the truth is, I'm a freaking nutcase

Every weekend, you flaunt your emo style

Every weekday, you'll be at your work for a while

It's not I'm in to you

It's obvious you hurt me and made me blue

So clog your nose, and don't breathe in the air

Because you may inhale mental sickness everywhere

So clog your tongue, with a bumble bee sting

Because you might make me happy, stop talking

Every holiday, you get stuck to social media

Every Sunday, you get in a religious hysteria

It's not that I don't like your odd quirks

But sometimes there's anger that hurts

So, let go of your senses, and fall in love

Because that's what life is made of

And when time is on your side, don't be afraid

Or else you'll be like me, a lonely young maid

Your words make me laugh,bold and brassy and so full of sass. Then I feel guilty for laughing because the undertow carries my heart to a lonely place where I trip and fall on my a*s. I love the duality of this write. There was a time in my life when all my relationships went this way. When I met and married the mate to my soul many years ago, it no longer mattered how anyone else treated me because she completed me. anti-math- 2 = 1
