Pit Stain.

Pit Stain.

A Poem by Chloe Madison Taylor.
"

Slipknot show. ha. Moshpits are very inspirational.

"

I'm setting myself up again

stuck between three ninja-kickers and

two girls with sandals on.

The room shakes with bass and I can

feel my pants vibrate.

Bang your head and watch the room spin with you.

Drenched in someone elses sweat.

Blood crusting around my nostrils

Pain isn't real.

Sweat rolls in my eyes while

Isaac rolls another joint.

I think I'm getting high just from breathing this air.

Bobby says he lost his keys and

I say I'm starting to lose my mind.

hallucinating in the back of the moshpit

bouncing off sweaty men like a ping pong ball.

Give me another hit.

Chloe Madison Taylor.
I don't know. I'm not going to try to make this anything. I wrote it more for me than anyone else.

the way you describe the scene is as if the words are painted -on your body
a geography of bruises
