Shatter Me

Shatter Me

A Poem by ClurHank

Shatter
Shatter me
Why this is and is not.
It pools around the delicate,
The delicate that braves so much.
But for what?
Just to end,
Inevitable
Forced
Wanted
Welcomed.
Shatter me.
Maybe these words are not for these lips,
Maybe they should have been sealed long ago.
But they are open, so
Shatter me.
Open my cracks,
Dig in,
Rip,
Tear,
Destroy.

Welcome this misery.
Welcome the dark.
Embrace it,
Aid it.
Cut through the misery,
Release it.
Shatter me.
Let me go,
Let me be free,
Let my soul pour from these cracks.
Shatter me.
What is not this,
Is what I want.
Blanket my tears,
Forgotten smiles,
I remember the pain,
And it felt so good.
Allow me,
Let me
Shatter me.
