~Trying to remember

~Trying to remember

A Poem by Clyde du Coeur
"

Just something I wrote at 2am :P

"

Since you’ve been gone,

I find myself trying to remember the feelings experienced within a mere half hour…

I find myself trying to remember the adrenaline rush when you kissed me:

When your lips touched mine,

I fell into a state of bliss.

When your tongue caressed mine,

We both knew what we were doing; it was no mistake:

It was intentional.

How do you feel now? No one knows.

Even I don’t know how you feel…especially me…

“If he didn’t like me, why did he kiss me a second time? And the third, fourth, fifth…”

I find myself trying to remember how I felt…

But the more your absence drags on,

The more I forget.

Here I got the 'Wow'-feeling! Definitely a great piece. While reading I had somewhat the impression as if I myself would experience that - you've done a brilliant job. Looking forward to read more of your work.

The words that escape at 2AM. The emotion and words are here, but a little raw sounding. For reason. Like it much. Good work.
