Tattered Matters

Tattered Matters

A Poem by Cobblestone Traveler
"

Brain damage?

"

Shredded cognition
Leaving the mind in tassels

Staring at a blank screen
As the cursor blinks in spasms

Splatters and scatters
Of a fragmented soul

Let it be fed to the devil
It needs to be removed

Looking to the walking bird
Reminding and guiding

So this is how you move
And these are the functions

Nothing is making sense
The light has extinguished

interesting commentary, I don't know if this was your point, but how i interpreted this was to be a comment on society and how technology based we are. Indeed, shredded cognition. Everything is so readily available to everyone these days, that it's hard to think for ourselves. Good poem, it made me think.
