Telescope Lullaby

Telescope Lullaby

A Poem by Vertigo Cat1111
"

‘I’ll watch the sky turn light blue, but it’s not the same without you’- Owl City

"
Images of fire
Play on my wall
It was the forest after all
Lights in the furthest horizon creep
As I try to sleep
But it’s you
I astral project to

Then I realized the safest I ever felt is in those arms
We started off rocky
I learned how to be cocky
It just tenderized my heart
That it was all gone for far too long

A lively poem of remembering
those better times of comfort
within safe arms ..deep emotions
expressed within poetic verse
Nice Work...

Thank you so, so much for the kind review! I appreciate it endlessly.
In times of fear or difficulty we are drawn to those that bring us comfort. Whether they are still a part of us or not. Love is not prisoner to time, unlike our hearts. A heartfelt piece of poetry Colacat that speaks to all who have ever loved.
