Above the Dark and Endless Dark Night

Above the Dark and Endless Dark Night

A Poem by Cole Hayley

Above the dark and endless dark night

You stretch, with no fresh earth to soothe

And yet all space to move.

But still I ask, if missed, will your sight

Be bent onto I?

Planet upon planet and stars alike

Know your faces as native, and each mood

As storm or weather good.

But still I ask, if missed, will some light

Be shed onto I?

Night is a great muse.. and the way you have written about the above and far beyond, left me intrigued..

A skilled piece with a good writing structure put into it. I would recommend more imagery in future works, but other than that, a fine job!

Beautifully written Cole. Your writing has such depth. Always a pleasure to read.

Cole you simply do not come in and write enough, your words are missed, you should be here stretching, light or dark in only the way you can do it, you have so much talent I am in constant awe of it coparatively to your age bracket (who mostly write about cutting themselves and depression) you are light years ahead of your time. Good to read one from you!
