Marisa, Viewed Near the Window

Marisa, Viewed Near the Window

A Poem by Cole Hayley

Marisa, Viewed Near the Window

By sewn borders, she beaded the alpine,

Followed, in order, every peak and every decline

Until each bulb hung, airy and empty, from the hotel suite -

Strung in the middle-less day, and were a sun for every street.
