Just yeah

Have you ever heard the saying the people who smile the most hold the most pain?

I never thought it was true but now I know it is

At school I'm this happy cheerful person but when I get home it's a different story

you yell and scream and say the nasty things and think I should just forgive and forget

but i'm so done with that and I'm not a little girl anymore I can hold my own

And idc tell me to get out I  bet my life would improve tremendously

maybe I would suffer a little but you have to have a little rain to get sunshine

So you aren't gonna threaten me and tell me what to do

Because I'm no longer that quiet child you once knew

I'm a loud proud teenager whose almost an adult

I think it's great.
I'm a smiler, unfortunately. Laughing and smiling all day long and then physically and emotionally collapsing as soon as I get through my front door.
I really like this poem. :)
