Good Things

This is how I feel good things behave towards me.

GOOD THINGS. By Sangeetha

Good things...they never last
It's always been that way .
Their like butterflies, you try so hard to capture
But fail anyway.

Good things...their like sand
They always find a way to slip from your hand.
They stay awhile, to give you a little comfort.
But was all the struggle to have you, now a wasted effort?

Good things...their like bad things
You can't ever have too much of both.
But why does it always feel like bad things become necessary,
Like how you must always clothe.

Good things...I want to trust you
But you always make me feel like sooner or later,
I must lose you.

Bad things keep me company, while you are away.
How Long must I desire for your return someday?
Why is it that with some people, you stay with often?
Did they give you something that I couldn't?

I Guess good things are like something you save for a rainy day.
You can take them out your pocket, to save yourself someday.

Hope you like it, ive been feeling like this lately I work so hard to get something that I want and I need, but I never seem to get them...even whe I do I feel like I only get 50% of the result. Hope you can relate as well.

A deep, dark glimpse at the world. And yes, it seems that way so often. Pleasures are brief, but winter holds on tight. yes, can totally relate Sangeetha..love the discription of catching the butterfly..lovely way to put it :) sadly we have more frustrations and disappointments than anything else but it just makes the successes even better and more satisfying, keep your chin up Sangeetha, it will all go well in the end :)

Yes Ms Helen I agree with you completely I know that it will get better, I don't when but I'm hoping its soon...actually when I wrote this poem I did it in the thought of you...and me but mostly you haha
