I Can't Trust You

I Can't Trust You

A Poem by CriticalxxAngel
"

I'm sorry that I can't trust you

"
I'm sorry I can't trust you,
I know how hard you've tried.
You tell me everything about you,
But all I say are lies.
I won't let my heart be broken,
it's been hurt too many times.
Even if I told you,
You would leave without goodbye.
I can't bear to lose you,
I would end up all alone.
My soul has vanished from me,
I can't take this anymore.
The world was shattered all around me,
I have nothing left to do but, cry.
Maybe if you held me,
I just might talk about it.
But thats not right,
I can't break the lovely silence.
Sorry, I can't do this
It's not fair to you, nor I
I'll let you know the answer
I can't trust you,
Not tonight.

Not too short, and not too long. "I just might talk about it", in my opinion, doesn't fit where you have put the line, or maybe it's just the rhyme that makes it out of place. It's a good line, but I would write a few more lines to assimilate it better.

You are always welcome
So this person cannot trust, but she can love? It's weird. She's blaming him for not being able to trust, but maybe it's her fault too. This is a cute poem. It reminds you of a woman's indecisiveness.
