Shadows Smiles

I step from the shadows into the light
Only to see the shadows smile
Straddling reality and a dream
Trying to see through the darkness
Searching for that ove wish
That of love to show me the way
Back to feelings long lost
Something to make feel again
To not feel so numb inside
So now I stand here in the sun
Just trying to find my way one again
Heading down this forgotten path
Seeking the love that lies ahead
And leaving all the darkness behind
