A tribute (I hope) to Bill Watterson and my favorite comic strip ever.

The days are just packed
Thought the boy to himself
Armed only with tuna fish
Heading to trap a tiger
And find his best friend
Then the adventures begin
As Spaceman Spiff fights
The weirdos from another planet
And evil worm that teaches
Tracer Bullet solves the mysteries
Of the cardboard box
Never knoweth what it can be
Scientific progress goes boink
As they travel through time
And the duplicator goes out of control
Stupendous Man saves the day
Fending off the baby sat
As the snow goons run amuck
Hidden in their secret tree house
Having a meeting of G.R.O.S.S.
Sometimes just playing ball
In the craziest of ways
With rules that always change
After all it's a magical world
And there's treasure everywhere
I've read these stories many times
And they always entertain
But there are many lessons too
Taught by Bill Watterson
Perhaps the most important of all
To a child it is easy to see
There is no real difference
Between fantasy and reality
