too drunk to dance

too drunk to dance

A Story by Billie Hanzen
"

This is the first song I wrote for my band Crowbar Suicide. It's about how fucked up the youth is nowadays. Parties are drowning in drugs and strong liquor and that's a problem for many teenagers.

"
what's that going trough my head/every night and day?
I think I'm too drunk to dance/but I'll kiss you anyway
i found a girl in your bed/now she belongs to me
what's what do she belong to you/I'll keep her anyway

no matter what you say
no matter what you do
I'll pierce from her inside
WITH MY LANCE

I've found these pills on your disc/can i plz swallow them now
I also found this big shiny neel/I just don't know how
i just ate a mushroom/now I'm all woow
look at that giant turtle/and the big blue cow

no matter what you say
no matter what you do
I'll pierce from her inside
WITH MY LANCE

The first bit is amazing, but ill be completely honest the chorus section takes away all of the magic in the first verse. the last 2 lines are a bit childish. i like the second verse as well, up until "I'm all woow" when it gets silly again. (is that supposed to be Needle, btw? because i really like that line) but i think this piece has A LOT of potential if you work it a little more. it could be a really powerful read.
