How much longer

How much longer

A Poem by Daniel Gardner
"

Anger is starting to take over.....

"

How much longer
For this I can not take
Day after day I put food on the plate
Never are things the way they seem
Lie after lie seem to seal my fate
Nothing I do seems to matter
No one seems to care
Even the one I love makes me feel despair
Things I do only turn out to be a few
Through blood sweat and tears i fight this world
Never seeming to win
Because it rips and tears
Emotion is harmful I am told
It keeps you from doing what your told
I can't seem to stop this
The ending result is priceless
I will rip it all apart
To pieces I will shred my heart
Soulless is the only true result

A great interpretation of the picture. A few suggestions (grammatical and spelling) follow. Change first line to 'Much more of this I cannot take.' Line 7: despair. Line 13: you're. Otherwise, this is a good effort and one that paints a deep well for the reader to ponder. :-)

Wow, I can honestly say I love this poem the best like if I get drunk and smoke something illegal I'll marry it sort of way. Whoa, that was random; and it was meant in a good way, I'm a good girl, I don't do that s**t. Anywho nice write and I think I'm all out of read requests :(

I can relate to this. sometimes it feels like nothing I do means anything at all and that the harder I try the harder I fall. Very nice write.
