Wave of Words

Wave of Words

A Poem by Danielle Renee

I’ve lost myself
In your wave of words,
It seems that I am drowning
And cannot pull myself free.
My paper wings
Have torn from their bones
And slowly crumbled and wilted
From my stream of tears.
My sense of direction
Has become poor, I don’t know
Where to place my feet or where
To send my heart.
I’ve lost myself
In your wave of words.

Interesting verses with lots of symbolism and emotion. It speaks of indecision sometimes faced in relationships and the unhappiness caused by lack of direction in life. Good job!

Lost in your wave of words. Love it.

If one persons words become a tidal wave, than you're own can be woven into a ship that can sail through the storms.
The imagery in this one is magnificent!
