An Unbeliever's Life

An Unbeliever's Life

A Poem by DaughterofHonor
"

A dark piece of writing for a Christian soul.

"
Darkness is the cloak
Which hides the streaming blood
That pours over the naked and scarred flesh

Lies are the mask
Deceiving the mirror
By disguising the suffering within

Tears are the alcohol
That drowns the pain
And blurs the lines of reality

Arrogance is the drug of choice
With a satisfying high
Blanketing failures in a foggy oblivion

Rejection is the grave
Ensuring eternity in Hell
Because the answer was no to Jesus Christ as Saviour

I like the way this is set up, and the way it flows.
