Warning

Warning

A Poem by Deandra Dawn

Warning

The words that had been spoken,
with sharp tongue,
painful tone,
left her feeling distraught.
The evolution of your warning
impeding a plaintive intent.
Your words piercing-
like daggers,
figuratively drawing blood,
endlessly corrosive.
Playing with intervals of marked
aggression
aggravation
apprehension
all ending with her begging for
forgiveness.
Her sorrowful advances
lost on terms of
nervous misdirection

Pure, raw power. Your phrasing is really excellent.

She will not heed the warning... very well written!

Words always have meaning, thought and something that can lead to a thousand thoughts, this however is as refined as a nice whiskey. A sting and truth.
