Dementia

Dementia

A Poem by Deandra Dawn

DEMENTIA

A recollection of the soul
aligned with mutual misgivings
always relying on the lies
the twisted, sordid untruths
following a certain destructive path
into the unknown
unto a prominent character
presently evoking harm
mischief to the end
an unreliable outcome
of misdirected
dementia

To hear the following, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jhtvRMDn_8 than yet again you have mirrored one the greatest bands (IMO) of history. Why this took me right to this song, not sure why, maybe the flow of the words, the emotion, the deliberate and thought out phrasing.

Made me think
BLACK SABBATH.

This hits me hard. I knew someone suffering from dementia; her daughter would always feed lies to her... It's sad and yet it has the truth entwined with it. Great work with a disease that everyone should know about.
