little game

let's not lie

we know who would win

in this chagrin little game

it's not you, it's me

or at least I hope it'd be

 I can overthink the overthinkers

although that may not be good

because my thoughts twist into things

that may not be helpful

in the silly game of wits

you could over-do the over-doers

although that may not be much

when you've barely got a brain in that head of yours

with your giggles and your winks

although the challenge is 

or at least, on a whim

to not fall in love with you

because that's an awful thing to do
