to know you've been right by my side-and gone just the same.

My heart drops once more, and I don't know how much I've cried,

but my feelings for you could never change in this fucked up game.

 

Dearly Departed, will you promise to return by my side?

I want you here forever and always, I've never lied...

Dearly departed, who's grace incinerates misery,

promise that you'll always be here with me...

 

I hear you say it again, and I was aware from the start,

but the thought of you leaving still f*****g tears me apart.

You saved me from suffocating in my coccoon of death,

escaping your own as a radiant butterfly, who's wings take my breathe.

And I still long for you to be by my side as my wife,

I want to protect and adore you for all of my life.

this is so bittersweet^^

you seem so tough through your writings sometimes Demy, that sometimes I think it blinds other readers to the fact that you're...actually....kind of a compassionate guy inside.

This is good. I could feel the sadness as I read this. I loved the second stanza. A very powerful piece!
