I didn't mean it

I told you, harshly,

that december

Breaking nails on

windshields and

burning bushes

 

I don't want this.

 

You looked at me

wrinkle eyed and

flabbergasted

 

I could tell you were

always

taken aback

by my random insults

and instigations

 

Humorous yet, unfullfilling.

 

I was always a sad wrap

a seed in

the wind, blowing along

with the trash and inconsistencies.

 

Don't let me fall inlove with you,

it would be against my

own will.

 

And I always thought

you took that statement

for granted.

 

But who can ever tell?

This was great! The formatting really complimented the flow as it just eased along from the first word to the last. The way I related to this was how you can say things just to get a reaction from someone, whether it's good bad weird a lie truth... whatever. You can learn about someone that way, but sometimes things can go too far, which is represented in this poem. My favourite lines:

"a seed in
the wind, blowing along
with the trash and inconsistencies."
