I have to do this on my own

There’s nothing to fear

When you hold me so dear

You’re always there watching me behind

Always ready to help me with a hand

 

But now you have to let me go

So I can see the world I need to know

I may win or may loose

But this is what my heart choose

 

Thank you for catching me at the time I’m falling

And encourage me and watch me rising

Thank you for guiding this wondering heart

I have to do this now so I can take my part

 

You don’t need to be worry, I’m not a fragile child

Because you taught me to be strong

Trust me, I can survive in this world so wild

Because I will carry your words in my heart all along
