Awaiting

Awaiting

A Poem by DhaVerd

When she's leaving you alone
And you miss her very so,
Postpone any other thoughts just to think of her.
You go onto your phone,
Checking minute by minute just for a response.
Left alone,
Messages taunting your mind;
Hoping that you'll find the wait.
But it's nothing but bait.
Stop feeling to the delay
And just say everything is fine.
After all she is what you have to call mine.
As you sigh,
Say goodbye to all the thoughts.
No need to keep in mind those taunts.
They'll haunt you by the seconds.
Thoughts will keep mentionin',
You'll keep fetchin' for your phone.
Nothing great will come from this wait,
So just postpone all these thoughts.
All they brought is such distress of your mistress.
All that matters is soon she'll have replied,
You won't feel alone
And you love her very so.
