Under The Blue Sky

Under The Blue Sky

A Poem by D. Nelson
"

Such a beautiful day... it would be a shame to let it creative inspiration go to waste.

"

On this wonderful and aw-inspiring day,
I sit underneath the bright blue sky
and feel my worries melt away,
so much weight lifted
I feel as if I were to fly,
and if I could I would always stay...
Oh... as I lay here...
Under the great blue sky,
my soul rests away,
and I know why...
Because under the fantastic blue sky,
there are no lies.
Under the great blue sky...
You can feel
the touch of the cloudless air.
The angels...
Reach down to earth now,
and take hold of you.
Lift away the guilt
the shame and the hate.
Sifting through the thoughts
of which you can relate,
as you lay here...
the blue sky will determine your fate.
And it is here that I wish to remain.
The only place on earth...
Where I feel sane.
To many others here,
the gray sky and blue...
Are all the same.
But for me it’s very clear,
I live without my fear...
When the blue sky wakes...
The strumming of the velvet wind,
and the softness of the angels key,
the blue sky hangs above...
This beautiful sea.
When the sun wakes from its den
just beneath the earth,
I feel as if I am finally free.
And it’s like  it is all for me.
Under the blue sky...
It’s alright.
And I no longer ask myself...
Why?
Under this clear blue sky.

Sometimes if we just sit and listen to the sounds around us or look up into the sky, we can find peace. A place where there is no lies or hatred, there's just a place where you can be happy.
Nature really is beautiful and calming, you expressed that very nicely.
Great work,
~Lauren
