Carribean Summers

Carribean Summers

A Chapter by Dina

We spent summer nights on the street
Firework dreams
Walking barefoot on the warm concrete
Popsicles melt in 90 degrees

Island sweat on your forehead
Can’t regret any shots that you don’t take

Yes I’m staying for dinner
Tell mummy I’m a friend of your sister’s
Cause it’s too hot outside
And you’re just a little to drunk to drive

Reggaeton summers, they drive you wild
Roof top parties, and basement nose dives
This is the pulse of life
You know I just wanna catch a vibe
You’re down I could see it in your eyes
