Half Baked Words

Serving half baked words, hope you relish it

Today we ate
Half baked words
Between gulps of silences

unfinished sentences
We noisily chomped

Groping for words,
we lift the lids of
yesterday and tomorrow

Finding it empty
We lazily sat

Quietly, finished the supper of conversation
and quickly drank the drop of love
that was left at the corner of the eye.

I really like this. It's an experience, I think many have had. That moment when people seem to drift apart and they begin to realize how little they have to talk about, leaving silence in the air as we rummage through our minds for anything to say. You also have a great writing style!
