My Prince

I steal away
in the dead of night
to my secret place of dreams
as my heart yearns to take flight

My Prince I pray you fill
these empty arms
and my heart to be won
by all your charms

As your voice echoes
upon my ears
and speak of an end
to the loneliness and tears

Can this be the one
for whom I have waited
Are you my Prince of love
or is it loneliness I am fated

My Prince I call to you
come and dry my tears
Hold me close
to dissolve my fears

My lips yearn for your kiss
My heart for you to fill
My life with you to share
My Prince let this be your will.
