Memories of our bonfireA Poem by DrStormWith great dedication to the one I miss here, I really do wish you would stay with me near. But you did not want to light this bonfire, Yet deep down... I have this desire. The warmth of bonfire is almost but gone, Its embers are ashes completely along. I remember the times we sat by the fire, Connections we shared. Passion, desire. Cold and dark night all around us. Its silence weighs. I wish it would pass. My thoughts rush to you as I tremble alone, Did someone burn you, when you sat for too long? I look at your tears falling from eyes, Can't break the mute. No words would be wise. I wish I'd embrace you in a tight hug, As you would hold me back in a tug. It is not very clear what caused us to stray, Whether bonfire will restart the same way. Will you return and bring back some pyre? Since I hopelessly wait - to rekindle this fire.
