Mouth Scrape

Mouth Scrape

A Poem by moog-drika

The trashes were embroidered with a senior pride,
cherished its own smell.
Observation was sharpened,
to adorn their blue like flaws with a shiny laughter.
Singing a verse of hilarious nausea seemed significant.

Eclipse looked up at the stars.

Contrasts here of trash and lots of it, smelling, causing nausea and then eclipsing it, blacking it out to look at the heavens. Made me think of what we are doing to our planet. No wonder some of us seek solace in the stars. That's where you took me moog-drika in this short write which is packed with imagery.

Pleased for my visit :)
the realization that the present moment and it's concerns
have no bearing in the grand scheme
the master plan of the cosmos just 'winging it'
and here we are, nigh on nothing
keeping stock of trash and refuse
impregnating nil with the weight of existence
meanwhile stars align for a hot minute
and none but a doomsday prophet seem to notice or care,
what with doomsday being the monday after any given sunday
so the stars turn to the cosmic mirror
and who could blame them for their ambition
this little blue wasn't worth its salt
i enjoyed this

Thanks a bunch for your kind words :'D
Interesting piece that speaks of trash and the Eclipse. The Ying and Yang of life in general. The muck, dirt and disdain of sicking things that go on. And the beauty and pleasing things to the eye and heart, mind and soul. A lot said inside a neat tidy poem.

my pleasure sweetheart.
So much said in few words. The sound of victory it depicts which always is the best sound. Nice one..

I'm kind of confused by this piece.....the imagery is literally trash but the wording is really nice...I guess it takes a lot of talent to do that so great job? lol

Well the whole piece is mirroring some real acts of daily roller coaster life to me...."Observation was....... a shiny laughter" which person of this earth can't relate to this? At least I can😧....However, tis helping us somehow!

The mouth is involved in the expression of many different emotions, from happiness to sadness, from fear to disgust; so I can see from where your metaphorical reflections have evolved. Interesting and thought-provoking read... :-)
