Hurricane

Hurricane

A Poem by Mak(ayla:)

Love is like a hurricane.
It comes and goes,
Spinning round and round.
Making us dizzy,
Until we all fall down.

He came along,
And picked me up.
He held me close,
and made me safe.
Then he came upon another mistress,
And threw me down,
And fled to her side.

I sat in the dirt,
In my own dispair,
Until I saw you,
and my heart started beating.
You picked me up,
dusted me off,
and together our love grew.

You are different,
And so am I.
You hold me close,
And dry every tear.
But fear starts to creep in my mind,
cause here it comes the hurricane.
But this ride, I want to take,
Forever in each others arms,
We'll spin for eternity.

About
I'm Makayla, but I prefer Mak. I haven't been on here in a long time. I've changed quite a bit, but I'm only growing wise. So, please read my work if you'd like. I'd love to see what you thin.. more..
