Sane Black

Sane Black

A Poem by Chase Dylan
"

Plain Craft

"
I'm paid by the hour...
not ah-prince-with an immaculate sense of duty
I raised the wrath ruby
deflated my craft rudely
I'm laid-back as they loosely lay traps crudely
Pay back grievance
I feign act simply
the sane-black happens
when stayin' pain-backed,
truly...

I absolutely love the flow of this even though I don't know for certain it's meaning but believe it to be a statement about an artist's pride in their craft and remaining true and authentic to themselves, not falling in with the masses.

Who ever knows an artists implicitly inherent meaning.
Thanks very much, Anita, glad you enjo.. read more
Love the flow of this with rhyme scheme...
simply, truly, rudely, ruby.
Paid by the hour, paid by the rhyme and
the words are pain backed...the poet has to feel that first before he can put it into words, truly.
