A Poem by getinthecarplease

I stand here perplexed
Overlooking the valleys of the conscience
With a slight gust of memories forming below
In the olden halls where the echoic canyons sigh
Where the whispering tones seep through the seams
I stand here gazing
Over the coliseums of my deepest manifests
With the light trust on the fabrics of the shadow
In the ancient tangos on stage with the hook gleaming
Where the ambiance lies and the oracle screams
I stand here in praise
To the fortress that surrounds the stones of seven
Whence the words had came, whereas we stand meaningless
In the temples of our thoughts, in the glimpses of oblivion
Holding celestial orbs by the creek and shore
Boleros fasting on solos 'neath the halos of pawns
In my hands are the sacred million dawns
Lit by the sanity of millions of persons in the hall
Perplexed by the caverns of our minds
Gazing to the ridge of the lauded terror
In praise of the sun by which the universe bestows
As rooks flee to the knights of our board
And you, and I, and thee moving along the square
As the change flies to the kings of our sword
As pentacles and cups ace the final show
In the heart of the lover's tarot
A fortress of thought, a cavern of isolation
