too soon to tell

too soon to tell

A Poem by Emily B

those times when

my roots stretch deep

in barren soil

searching

I don't know

if you could guess

the urgency

of my need

the clouds whisper

how soon

until hope

rains

... a mesmerising mood ... exquisite and enchanting poetry ... an intense instinct ... a perplexing pause ... a quest ... a hope ... anticipation ... aspiration ... a melting moment ... oh ... this is so beautiful ... it simmers softly ... (highest rating) ...

This is so lovely, so gentle, so complete. And "hopeful". Even when all seems lost we instinctively look up to our only help. What a gift you have!

Now that sent a shiver through me.

"the clouds whisper
how soon
until hope
rains"

Your roots digging ... searching for hope. GOD I so feel that way sometimes. Like my status said (might still say) "Sometimes the Green Mile seems so long."
