Ghost Stories

a poem about Coldplay's latest album...I hope you don't mind

so soft, sad, beautiful

telling a heartbreaking story of true love

of a man who is as lost as a dove out at sea

without his ex-wife

each song tells a small portion of his life without her

and how broken his heart is

which cracks my heart

the morose lyrics Chris sings so tenderly

makes my heart ache 

the album is so eerie

so distant

so different

from what Coldplay once was

as precious and valuable as a

diamond

Ghost Stories is truly a vital testament

to Coldplay's legacy

which will live on

long after they are gone

such a story of lost love

better than any known fairytale

there is no album I will treasure more

what a sweet, sad story

that I will hold in my heart forever

as long as I will live

it will carry the dove back home

where it belongs
