My Very Own Airplane

Imagination has no borders

My mind is an a
                       i          a
                         r     l     n
                            p          e
 
                                   floating through the sky
                                   over forests and castles and oceans I fly
                                   the tallest building and the tallest tree
                                                                        here above the clouds can't compare to me

                                   soaring and twirling with no limit in sight
                                   the wind beneath my wings as my airplane takes flight

                                   do not waste your time and ask me to land
                                                                       my mind is far beyond the borders
                                  and don't take commands

Your poem reminds me of an experience in a glider.....without an engine, so the only sound is that of wind......or utter silence......seeing the earth below.......feeling the hot air ensure motion.....our minds can take us places where our bodies can often only dream of going......
