An endless shade of blue

An endless shade of blue

A Poem by Sunshine and rain
"

I'm not a song writer, but often times words pop into my head and I string them together to make a song that I would like to hear. But like I said, I'm not a song writer so I'll settle for this poem.

"
I notice that you cry.
I cry too.
So lay your head on my shoulder,
And we’ll cry…
An endless shade of blue.

Tell me all your sorrows.
I’ll share all my dreams.
And we know in this world,
Nothing is as it seems.

Cry,
I cry too.
So lay your head on my shoulder,
And we’ll cry…
An endless shade of blue.

Somewhere along the river
Somewhere along the bend,
Our troubles will be forgotten
But here, they’ll never end.

Together we drown in sorrow
Together we’re stuck like glue
And so we cry…
Our endless shade of blue.

There’s no shame in tears
Only shame in lies
And while there’s still lies…
We won’t have our summer skies.

Only…
A drowning,
A Flooding
An  endless shade of blue.

Author's Note

Sunshine and rain
After I finished copying and pasting it on here, I realized the poem sounded a little depressing. I'm not going to change it, but if you look at it in a way of hopeful to get out of the present situation, the poem doesn't sound so depressing.
